Join us for a welcome celebration with food and drinks followed by a friendly competition of traditional Scottish Highland Games!
Attire: Casual, comfortable clothing & footwear. We suggest bringing a jacket or rain coat just in case as this event will be outdoors on the Castle grounds.

Guests staying in Edinburgh who choose to partake in the Games will be transported back to their hotels afterwards to get ready & change for dinner!

All the lads head to the Stag Chamber and lassies to the Armoury for a tasting sample of Scottish Whiskeys and Gins.

HANDFASTING CEREMONY

Join us as we exchange wedding vows in a handfasting marriage, followed by drinks reception, formal dinner, traditional Scottish dancing & celebration!
Attire: Formal. For the lads, we encourage you to partake with George & his stags in wearing a kilt!

KILT OUTFIT HIRE: Choose from one of the Argyll kilt outfits to hire from Gordon Nicolson - pick any tartan of your liking EXCEPT Black Watch (navy & dark green), as this is George's tartan! The outfit comes with everything you need. Follow this measuring guide for the proper kilt length. Place your order by September 8th and set the collection date before Saturday the 21st. Pickup location is a walking distance in Old Town at 19-21 St Mary's St, Edinburgh.
